With over 15 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, service is my passion. Born and raised in New Orleans, it was a bitter sweet departure spending time away from home to engross myself in the industry.
With my return to New Orleans, my excitement for the city has been reignited! It is my intention to showcase New Orleans which has grown bigger and better than the shadow cast by Hurricane Katrina.
As visitors and locals alike look for an intimate peek at the unique and vibrant destination of the Crescent City, I offer private, exclusive outings to immerse you in the history of New Orleans! Along with providing exceptional service as the highest mission, my true goal is that you return home with a deeper understanding and love for the spirit of New Orleans.
About The Founder
Ashton Rogers, Founder
La Vie New Orleans Tours was originally founded by Ashton Rogers. Ashton moved to New Orleans in 2009 to attend Tulane Law School. During his time at Tulane, his main focus was the law. However, Ashton’s interest constantly wandered to the culture, lifestyle, and entertainment that the Crescent City had to offer.
After graduating from Tulane Law in 2012, Ashton had decided that he wouldn’t practice law. He briefly considered becoming a local high school history teacher. Instead, Ashton realized that he could take that passion for history and turn it into a fun and thriving business.
So in Fall of 2012, Ashton threw caution to the wind and created La Vie New Orleans Tours (roughly translated as “New Orleans Life”).
Over time, the company has evolved, changed, and grown. Now La Vie New Orleans Private Tours is under new ownership, but still maintains the promise of a dedicated, local guide offering a wide range of private tours. Any guide we provide is a happy, friendly, and informative local who is excited to share America’s most unique city with our guests.
